Pyramids of Giza & Sphinx, Memphis & Sakkara

Our Egyptology guide will take you to the plateau of Giza where the great Ancient Pyramids stand looming the edge of the desert. In front of the mystery of these structures man stands in awe. Visit the enigmatic Sphinx; this creature with a human head and a lion’s body defies time, then you will move to the Ancient City of Memphis, first Capital of United Egypt where the famous statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx. A few miles drive, is the interesting complex of Sakkara; the step Pyramids of King Zoser the first structure ever built, tour ends with a visit to the Mastaba of Idout, a fine example of old kingdom tombs. On the way back you can ask your guide for a stop at one of the rug-schools at Harraneya Village to see its process is a unique experience, also you can visit a Papyrus institute, to discover the process of manufacturing this ancient paper.

Egyptian Museum of Antiques, Saladin Citadel & Sultan Hassan Mosque

Our Egyptology guide will take you to the home of the masterpieces of Pharaonic civilization “The Egyptian Museum of Antiques”, the museum is unique in the world and it considered the largest most breath taking collection of Ancient Egyptian treasures, before you leave, do not forget to visit the jewelry collection of Tutankhamen, then you will be taken to the 12th century Citadel, built by Sultan Saladin for the defense of Cairo, within the Citadel walls you will visit Mohamed Ali Mosque a fine example of Ottoman architecture, continuo to  one of the old Islamic landmarks Sultan Hassan Mosque, end the tour with a stroll through Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
